Good mornin. Still waiting to hear if I have to go in for a two hour paint call. Right now Im betting that I don't but I'll never know for sure until about an hour before when is usually when I have to leave to get there on time. Little do they know that I sit in my pajamas until the last moment so I end up being a minute or two late. That's whatcha get when ya call me with no time to get ready. C'est lavi.
We had no hot water for a while yesterday. That while happened to be right when I was dying to take a shower. The shower doors got a good slamming and then I fell asleep for a half an hour in my towel. Eventually I gave up and I haven't checked to see if we have any today yet. Anyhow, I gave in and decided to bath myself in body spray and the boy and I went for a walk into park slope. Such a great little neighborhood.
On the way home we rented Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and 28 Days Later. Confessions was fantastic. It made us all ready to go out and buy to book . Chuck Barris is obviously a brilliant guy which can sometime be frightening obviously. I look forward to reading the book and making my own conclusion of his life. By the end of the movie I decided that he was pulling everyone's legs and that it was an awesome "hoax." But at the same time, there's a small part of me that really wants to believe his story.
28 Days Later was a let down in my book. After all the hype with so few people really talking about it, I wasn't all that surprised that it didn't end up being great. The story was great, the suspense was lacking. The alternative endings were not so hot but the bizarro ending was great. On the dvd they have a story board portion where they made up a completely different way the movie could have ended. That was probably the most interesting part of the whole thing sadly.
The cats are going crazy. Ive decided they're officially insane punk rockers stuck in black kitten bodies. They're also professional wrestlers. I think I'll start paying them to be bouncers at our door.
