Happy Halloween

H-A-Double L-O-Double U-Double E-N spells halloween!
We used to sing that back in 1st grade I think it was. Back when I was in CT. I remember the music room and I remember singing it. I remember singing the dreidel song too.

It's Halloween. It's the my third (YOW!) halloween with the boy. The first one I spent with him was also the day of my first odd ball stage managing job here in the city. I worked for theatre of the new city on their big halloween ball. I was stage mananging the band stage that was supposed to be outside but due to recent events at the time all outside permits were revoked. So I had to do it inside to a crowd of about 5. The whole thing was that it kinda opened up the events and got people to come inside and enjoy the festivities. Oops. Oh well. Then later that nite I went and met the boy up at the Promenade for a little halloween get together with the boys. I don't remember what I dressed up as, but I do know it wasn't much. Probably my pimp coat and a mini skirt because to me, that's actually a costume....being that I wouldnt normally wear that kinda thing.

Ellen cracks me up. She's dressed like Dr. Phil and somehow even cuter than she normally is.

I think if I had the time and money I woulda been Alice in Wonderland this year. I have a very old costume from when I was younger that my mom made for a dance show. However, Im pretty positive it wouldnt fit me. And if it did, Im positivie I would end up looking more like Alice in Hookerland.

One of my favorite costumes was one I made up all myself one year. I was just a dead person, or a beat up person. I put bruises and cuts all over myself and ripped my clothes to shreds. A cop pulled me over and told me I wasn't wearing enough clothes cause i had a big rip in my shirt across my stomach. That was before the town cops were abolished in my town. Nothing better to do than harass me for my fabulous costume. He was just jealous.

Im sure I can find something in my wardrobe to dress myself up today. If not, I can always wear my pimp coat.

I guess Ive just gotten used to the last minute costume. All summer long we put together costumes from thrift shop clothes and considering that's all my wardrobe consists of, Im sure I'll be just fine.

Have a great halloween folks! I think I'll be going to the parade!
