Imagine my surprise when I walked into the Fez last nite to stage manage the burlesque show....

First of all I walked in and saw this tiny cute little woman walking into the backroom with a piece of yellow legal pad paper and I thought to myself "Damn, she is a dead ringer for Janeane Garofalo." Oh well, time to work I thought.

Then suddenly....low and behold...I turned the corner and these guys were walking around...



Recognize them? From MTV's sketch comedy show "The State" (one of my all time favorite shows by the way). Oh, and that woman? The dead ringer? Yeah, it was her.

So with a mix of being pissed cause they went nearly and hour over their time and made us late and excitement of being right there backstage with some of my favorite performers of all time....I began my nite at the Va Va Voom Room.

Other than that...can't talk much. Got a long day and must make sure Im prepared. Have a good day everyone.
