John Cusak is on the today show. He's wearing a baseball cap and eating food a crazy chef is making. I mention this because he is John Cusak. *le sigh*
I feel kinda bad for the anchors, they always have to eat the food. They must have their stomach's trained for pasta at 852 in the morning. I know I personally would probably vom if I had to sample some crazy dish this early in the morning.
The kitties decided to go on a rampage last nite and in the middle of it they knocked down the playstation2. I used that time to mumble and grunt about the necessity of an actual entertainment system with nooks and crannys and drawers and stuff.
The boy is on call with my boss today to drive the van around and pick up props and things. Last time he did this and I tagged along to keep him company. All it did was annoy me, mostly because I was off the clock and it took forever. I won't do that today.
Today is wonderful because it is ridiculously windy and slighty rainy out. I enjoy days like this when I know Im not going to be working at all. Atleast Im pretty sure I won't be. I feel a little less guilty about not going anywhere. Things will pick up along with my social life once I get a much steadier job and paycheck.
This weekend is a busy one. We will all be going to see UKUK at the knitting factory on friday. For all you NYers who might be interested in seeing a punk/garage band that's up and coming very quickly, they hit the stage at 11pm and the cover is 7 bucks. Come on down.
Saturday I go back and work for the burlesque show again which I discovered is quite fun, but even more so when a group of aquaintances/friends show up.
Okay, so that's what I consider a busy weekend. What of it?
My friend from Tenessee that I met this summer is also coming up on Friday for a good time. I very much look forward to seeing her.
The End...for now.
