Yesterday was fantastic because I washed my clothes, blankets and pillow cases. Who knows when we did that last. But now everything is clean and smells nice and that is a simple pleasure for me. Now if I could just get rid of all the random crap we have laying around the apartment, I'd be thrilled. But Im afraid that's not going to happen.

Ive always been the kind of person who keeps momentos from every silly thing Ive done. Ive been wondering if there will ever be a time when I look at these things and they'll serve a purpose other than me going "Oh yeah, that was from yada yada." For instance...a couple random things on my desk:

Chrome Montego Car Decoration- That was something I swiped from an ex. He had a Mercury Montego and I loved it. For those of you who have never seen one...it's basically a boat on wheels. His was painted Flat Black and sounded like a lion when you started it up. Right after him and I called it quits, so did the car.

Fake Hand Gun- spray painted black for a touch of realism, this was a prop from the first time I ever directed a show. It was spurn down south. The paint is chipping off and Im starting to see the purple color that it originally was.

Shell Buisness Card - exactly what it says. We went to a store this summer that sold beads and their business cards were written on tons and tons of flat little shells. I thought this was a fabulous idea so I took one and kept it. So now I'll always know how to get there or call them if I want. Even if they are a 10 hour drive from here.

Newspaper Clipping of Tom Green and Tony Hawk- This was from a package my mom sent me in college. It's covered in clear tape and I wasnt able to peel the picture off alone so it has brown cardboard paper stuck to the back of it. I just loved that she sent that to me so I always kept it. It's just sitting here. Maybe I'll put it up on my new bulletin board that I made yesterday.

Just some examples. Today I work alone, which will be really nice actually. I go in whenever I want to and leave whenever I want to. Sounds like a plan to me.
