So even though I dont have to be in until 1130 this morning, I am awake. The boy got up at 6 and once again I woke up with him and got up about a half an hour later. Sigh...i bet I could even get a nap in before I have to leave...
I watched the Emmy's last nite and I must say that I felt it was awful. I mean, even the band sounded awful to me. Most of the comedians were in my opinion...not funny. BUT...I was also completely exhausted when I got home yesterday afternoon. The only reason I didnt take a nap when I got home from work is because I knew I had to get up this morning.
Though I hadn't planned on being up quite so early.
I get most of my daily amusement out of the subway when Im working but for the last couple days it's been an obnoxiously "normal" commute. No weirdos, no interesting conversations that i over heard. One man was singing at the top of his lungs and wearing a tan suit with matching tan shoes and a beach hat. I think he was singing a religious song because he was holding books that looked like bibles and psalm books. But it was in a different language so I have no idea. I thought the interesting part was that he wasn't carrying anything to collect change. He was just singing. I thought maybe he was just bored and singing and was on his way to work until he did the usual buskery thing and swapped cars at the next stop.
Other than that, nothin. Im hoping for a more interesting experience this morning. Wish me luck.
