Alrighty then. The look of this page is probably about to start changing a little bit. Just a little heads up.
Im up soooo early this morning I dont know what happened. I only went to bed 5 hours ago. Probably because work is supposed to pick up today. I am supposed to call a woman I've worked with for some props jobs...being that she's a props designer and all. But the biggest news...Ive been writing to some burlesque/vaudville type shows around the city for the last couple weeks. OKay, so far there were only two that Ive found that looked like they werent grody. Hehehe, I said grody. One of them responded saying the show wasn't starting back up until october and the other wrote back yesterday saying it just so happened that they just lost their stage manager of 4 years. First, let's break down that sentences into two happy parts.
1. They just lost their stage manager. Okay, so this means there is a possible opening.
2. of 4 years. I dont think anything makes me happier than hearing a job might possibly last longer than a month.
The boy has been working. Yesterday and today that is...which would also explain my early rising. I was really hoping to not have puffy eyes today though. Just incase i had to go out and interview or anything.
Yesterday on the fox five news they were talking about huricane Isabel. They decided to go to long island and interview a couple of locals. Well, they interviewed this one fella who was dry docking his boat. Here's what he had to say. "Ya know, I dont know what to think. It's like 'When in doubt, pull it out." Luckily I wasnt taking a sip of a drink or anything because I would have snarfed. (Snarf: the action of choking on a beverage through laughter). I mean seriously, do I even have to explain? Cause I will if I have to but Im trying to learn the art of the punchline.
