Now this is how a morning should start. Both the boys are out and off to work now, it's just me and the kitties. Major roads, ie the Garden State Pkwy, have been reduced to a speed limit of 35mph while I sit here in my cozy apartment with a hot cup of coffee. Im a lucky gal. According to www.weather.com it's 9 degrees out right now with a high of 14 for the day. Anyone up for some hot cocoa?

People in the south have been calling to make sure we're okay. Of course, then we have to tell them that our heat is on high enough to make it uncomfortable. The boy and I have been sleeping in shorts and tshirts for the last week during this arctic freeze. However, this does only apply to the evening hours. In the morning it's a whole other story.

Ive realized something. I should only sleep about 6 hours a night. I made a pact with myself last nite that I would wake up with the boy as he left for work this morning. Ive been sleeping until about 10 every morning and feeling exhausted all day. Now I actually feel awake. Interesting.

So now that Im up early, what do I do with myself I wonder. I cleaned the bathroom yesterday. Swept the hallway. The boy mopped the kitchen for me and so on and so forth. Maybe I'll just enjoy being locked in by the snow and continue learning to use my new computer.
