Did you know they cut up the huge NYC christmas tree and made toys for the animals of the bronx zoo out of it? I think that's pretty cool. They had some lion cubs on the news too. The cats were having lion envy I think.

Yesterday was fantastic. I sat on my butt like a pro. Today however, it's back to the shop with me to take care of some lamp shades. It's freaking freezing outside and of course we had the window over our bed open all nite and when I woke up this morning I could see my breath. That's not something I expect to see when I open my eyes first thing.

I spoke with an old friend on the phone last nite for about an hour and a half. Was really good to hear from him. We chat online often. There's been a few months here and there where we'll have no contact at all, but after speaking with him last night with actual voices, it made me realize, he really is just a good pal. I have a friend. HA. Well, he might be a 3 hour drive from here and I havent seen him since I graduated from college 2 and a half years ago, but he'll always be a pal. Then I had the pleasure of watching him and my dad talk in a chat room about a computer problem. Both geniuses, both techy geeks. It was highly entertaining and at the same time confusing. Put two geeks in a chat room sometime and see what happens. Works best if you know them.

They news just said it was negative 3 in Newburg. That's where I'd been working all week. I told you it was cold up there!
