The boy returns...
Life is back to normal around here. The summer is officialy over as of today and it's time to begin the long fall struggle. The weather has been amazing all week with the smell of autumn in the air. Absolutely my favorite time of year and here in the city, after a long wet season, it is truly welcomed. The air actually feels clean.
The boy has been back for about a month now and the adjustment was smooth. I thought I was going to feel territorial when he returned since I really had set up my own routine around here...quite the contrary. It is so good to have him back. We seem to be laughing a little louder, enjoying longer conversations and day dreaming a lot together.
I didn't do much knitting over the summer because the heat made the yarn look somewhat unappealing but as soon as these cool, crisp days came, I picked it right back up. I'm working on a few christmas presents now so I can't say exactly what it is I'm making.
Anyhow, it's time to begin a new season in Brooklyn. I hope it holds new oppurtunities as I am certainly searcing for them. It's time for some kind of change, I'm just not sure what it is yet.
