With the intention of waking up a little later than usual, my train of thought has been thrown off this week. Working keeps me steady and I know where Im going every day, now there are so many options. Options are good but the mental clock is completely off balance.
Monday night was the UKUK show and I usually write you a long review on the subject. I find myself blocked from the appropriate words and all I can really tell you is they were fantastic. There was a nice large crowd that was hypnotized by the band from beginning to end. UKUK frontman Gypsy was on his game as he's made the decision now to drop the guitar and concentrate completley on his crazy stage antics. They were tight after months of practice off the stage and Rondell's guitar was smoother than silk. If you haven't seen them yet and you're in the NYC area, I suggest you come out and catch them in the act. You're guaranteed a great stage act and tunes you can really dance to.
Yesterday the boy and I went out to the fabric store to get some yarn...for me...not the boy. Now I finally have my own knitting needles and yarn to practice with myself and I am officially obsessed. We also walked up to the petco and bought the kitties a window hammock that they already can't get enough of.
What to do today? Anybody? Anybody?
