Today is the first day of the actual season at the New School. I am very much looking forward to getting started. It's time for sure. We meet our first group of actors and directors today. We work in the new space for the first time. It should be interesting. At least I hope it is. I wonder what bumps we'll run into, if any. I hope the shows are good. I hope I hope I hope.

The weekend was a good one. Had a friend down from Mass that I haven't seen since I graduated. Worked on lamp shades Saturday afternoon. Yesterday I went in to sew the covers on them. Then last night we all cuddled in to watch Finding Nemo for the first time and of course, I LOVED it. It was a spectacular movie. The of course we viewed the Grammys while switching back and forth between the Simpsons. I must say I was cracking up at the technical difficulties they were having. I hate that 5 minute delay crap and was hoping it would blow up in their faces. We made fun of how even though they had 5 minutes to edit and cut, it looked like crap. But I must say, the performances last night were pretty fantastic. Surprising for the Grammys.

Anyhow, wish me good luck on the official first day of work! I just might need it.
