A weekend like any other but with snow on top. The sun finally showed it's face yesterday after two straight days of snow. We don't have much to show for the storm except for brown, ankle deep slush puddles strategically placed against the curb where one tries to cross the street. Found out my boots dont keep water out as much as they used to.

We decided that yesterday was perfect for some movie rentals and took a walk over to the blockbuster. Im really loving that "Guaranteed in stock or free" thing they have going on, otherwise we never would have been able to rent Pirates of the Carribean. We never did get to the theatre to see that this summer but now we have and I loved it. Turns out Johhny Depp was fantastic. There was so much in that story, I really felt full when it was over. So few movies leave me with a finished feeling when Im through with them these days.

Today the boy plans to do laundry, I think, I hope, I pray. It's been awhile. The only reason I hassled him about it is because he has all the socks. Yes, we share our socks. They live in a bag by the dirty laundry doors. We sift and choose our underwear for feet out of a black mesh bag every morning. Last time I went to get a pair, I was left with one really long brown sock, a green sock with a hole in it and a crusty pair of the boys ankle socks. That's when I just had to say something.

Have a good day and enjoy the snow if you still have some!
