I just woke up...turned on the television and every channel showed a massive line of smoke on the city skyline. I tell you folks...i nearly had a heart attack. So many awful memories came rushing back. However, it's not what I, and probably many new yorkers thought when we initially saw the picture of black smoke and flames. It's not a terrorist attack but an oil barge that's burst into flames. It's docked at staten island and very near many oil tanks and another docked barge. They're very worried it might spread. Im still trying to catch my breath. They dont know how it started and of course, terrorism is on the tip of everyone's tongues. However, "officials" are saying that it's most likely an accident.
