Well, as much as I appreciate having a nice warm apartment to come home to in the winter ...I'd still have to say the heat is not necessary when it's 70 degrees out. But hey...that's just me. Thanks anyway.

I recieved my first every order of yarn in the mail yesterday that I purchased specifically for a pattern. It's very exciting to me. I'll be making "Pippe KneeStockings" from the Stitch N Bitch book in pinks and reds. It's also my first 100% wool yarn! Weeeeeeee! In other knitting news I finally completed the first sleeve of my first sweater....also from that book. All I have left is one more sleeve and then to sew in all the loose ends and seam it up! It's very exciting and the sweater is turning out to be rather "punk rock" with it's red base color and dark grey skulls on the sleeves. I can't wait for next fall when I will wear it proudly! Im also working on some birthday presents as the big birthday month of June is quickly approaching. Eeeeek. Two moms, a boyfriend and a brother.

Have I ever mentioned how the boys mother and my mother share the same birthday? It's true! Not only that but the boy's birthday is the next day and then mine lands exactly a week from his. Then 5 days 'til my brothers. Oy, it's a busy busy month. So 6 months from christmas I have to do it all over again.
