Knitting keeps me calm...

The very day it started to get cool for the fall, I immediately picked up all my knitting again. The obsession is thankfully back and stronger than ever. The hot summer months made it difficult to think of touching yarn. Next summer I must remember to get myself some light cotton yarn or something.

Anyhow, as you've probably noticed, I've been rather riled up about the nearing presidential election. Knitting keeps me relaxed. When I'm home, I turn on Air America and knit. The boy has taken a liking to this routine as well. He turned to me the other day and said "Babah! (cause that's what it sounds like) It's like we're in the 40's or somethin'. Just sittin' around listening to the radio and stuff." Yes dear.

This is my first attempt at a bag like project. I had a small ball of nice thick yarn that I just had to use up so I decided to make a mini bag. At first I thought it would hold my wallet and cellphone but then I realized it fits all my little knitting supplies perfectly.
