Spurn for the Fringe Festival has begun and I am thrown full speed ahead into my stage managing roll.  Alright, maybe I've thrown myself, but it feels good to be busy. Real live busy. Our first read through is this weekend and then we begin regular rehearsals.
 
In other big news, I was sitting here minding my own business when the phone rang. I didn't recognize the number so I let it go.  A voice came over the answering machine saying blah blah blah David Letterman Show tickets.  So of course I picked up.  The man on the phone told me I would have to call another phone number and answer a trivia question to get my tickets. If I answered incorrectly then no go. Long story short, eventually the man with the question called me back after I had left a message and asked me "Who is Alan Kalter?" Well, he's the announcer!  So bada bing, myself and the bro are going to see Letterman on Monday.  We're both very excited and determined to make the front row!  Wish us luck.
